I've been a subscriber for 4 years with never a doubt about my decision to be informed and educated in the Texas indie film circle. ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to believe that so many independent film acting careers are born and dead in less than a year. Even after all of the hype, the awards, the fancy head shots, in the end these people wind up working real jobs in the real world without any real success in "LA." So much for trying to make indie acting as a "career." - Thomas G., Houston, TX
ReplyDeleteThank you for the fantastic article and the photographs were on point covering my acting career in the Indie Film Scene. You've brought a lot of good information to your subscribers and I've learned a ton of do's and don'ts that has saved me a lot of time and money. Being a subscriber has been the best decision I've made wanting to learn more about the Texas film scene. Teresa M., Georgetown, TX
ReplyDeleteIt's become discerning the amount of bad films and scams that are back on the rise in the Texas film scene. With so many actors trying to fill in the gaps of taking small parts as extras, it's become apparent that the junior actors have lost faith in what real Texas Indie films can do to help their acting careers. Great article, bro! B. Jones, San Antonio, TX
ReplyDeleteIt's complete bullshit for any first time indie movie team sitting around, raining money to rent camera equipment. There are tons of impressive indie films being produced entirely with using cell phones and shooting them in 4K. The time for excuses is over, put up or shut up! Thanks for putting together an impressive investigative article in this months issue concerning the allege misuse of money raised by these indie film wanna-be's. Sanderson119B, Dallas, TX
ReplyDeleteHearing first time film team talk about "making it big" or getting the chance to be "on Netflix" is such a huge joke. It's always the same token passed from one crap film to another, "let's hire a washed up actor and build our film around him/her." Grow the fuck up!

You had brief but powerful article on the OnlyFans phenomena that I am sure has every parent wondering what their kids are doing behind closed doors. This medium is a growing epidemic and teenagers are putting shit out there that they'll regret in due time. You should expand on this issue and give more details on how to bring it down. - Carol S. S., Buford, SC
ReplyDeleteI've been at the haunting end of an of drama that I can't seem to shake off for the last several months. I am so happy that this issue brought me some good news concerning that backs up my stance of others running on hearsay. Truly a great new look for the QSE now. Tremendous leap, Dave! Kearny, S. S., Kissimmee, FL
ReplyDeleteHey David, you fucking schmuck! I got on the subscribers list a few months back because someone told me you were a fraud and I am surprised to learn that this emagazine IS EVERYTHING it claims to be! You even rat out the right people by giving out honest reviews and bring the receipts to every story you add as an article. Some may not appreciate your honesty, but I do. You can still go fuck yourself, but now I know you do it with fucking art! C. Kong'ster, San Antonio, TX
ReplyDeleteYeah, well one of my troopers told me that you added a comment on the blog and I told them to publish it. I track all of you dumbasses when you come to my site, so I guess I'm a little honored that you like to see what I'm up to and what we're posting. Tell your fabulous leader to fuck off and stay away. His candle burned out so fast, I'm surprised he has any ass left in his miserable life. But I appreciate the kind words and you should really keep an eye out for the March edition of the E-Mag; a particular story might interest you San Antonioites a LOT! =)
