  1. Here we go - a deep, strong investigative issue filled with nothing but facts and legal documentation! The local indie film scene should have been in an uproar years ago after complaints and lawsuits hit the court systems. It took the QSE to get the truth out. Fuckin fantastic!

  2. Another great issue and I am a 100% supporter who subscribed to the QSE a few years ago. Your articles were right on spot and you even laid out the credentials in support of the allegations being made. I hope you do a follow up in the same detail as this issue. Keep up the great work! 3. Texas is a hotbed for gossip and a lot of bad talk between actors and film teams. Most of the known gossip is filled with information that's outdated and doesn't cover the details required too substantiate legal recourse. Your article on "The Story of Cassie" hits the nail right on the head. There are too many parents that are too trusting to give any one person the opportunity to travel with their underage teen actor to work on a project without a bonfide guardian present. You're keeping many people steadily informed on the right practice when working with underage actors.

  4. So many victims in Texas and not enough news in the indie film scene to cover it all. I love the fact that your publication isn't being political and choosing sides that hide the truth. Back in the day of Luna's C47 Magazine it was all about hype and the newest team to try and evolve. Since it's passing, where are all of those local BIG names now? That'd be a great article to cover! - Denise Lamb, Houston, TX

  5. The epidemic is spreading and many indie actors have covered up for some shady directors just to "stay in the local loops." They all wished this would have all just gone away, but the wounds were deep and those wounded in the past are surfacing to tell their stories now. You had some tremendous articles in this issue. - Thomas G., Houston, TX

  6. It's truly sad to see that this crap continues to happen. With some much coverage on the Epstein lists and such, I wonder when something like that will begin to surface locally. God help us all.
